Within the forms of nature and natural, seek form to represent the chosen senseS: TOUCH, and the secondary inspiration to mind sense: PERCEIVED TIME the ever present eye in the sky and the shape of its corona will play part in the development of the form, and in the connection between MOVEMENT, ACTION and AUTONOMOUS objects. within the behavior of USER and object, we must zero-in what part of the process can be sped up or even happen without the user being tied to the object.
how to perceive future trends depends much on how we can tame our design imagination to constraints we can extrapolate from current days. in the pursuit to design a mixer concept for the year 2050, let us ask the question: how do we integrate our senses into the technology in a more natural way every iteration?
Can we consider the senses and their behavior a guideline and main approach to a product's form?
"When two things occur successively we call them cause and effect if we believe one event made the other one happen. If we think one event is the response to the other, we call it a reaction. If we feel that the two incidents are not related, we call it a mere coincidence. If we think someone deserved what happened, we call it retribution or reward, depending on whether the event was negative or positive for the recipient. If we cannot find a reason for the two events' occurring simultaneously or in close proximity, we call it an accident. Therefore, how we explain coincidences depends on how we see the world. Is everything connected, so that events create resonances like ripples across a net? Or do things merely co-occur and we give meaning to these co-occurrences based on our belief system? Lieh-tzu's answer: It's all in how you think."
